  • Teachers use a combination of formative and summative assessments to evaluate progress and adapt teaching strategies.

Curriculum Alignment:

  • There is a direct connection between curriculum expectations, instruction, and assessment to ensure all students meet or exceed standards.

Structured Literacy and Writing Assessments:

  • Regular assessments in phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension, and writing (OWA) help guide instruction in language arts.

Reflection & Growth:

  • Students are encouraged to reflect on their progress and develop responsibility, organization, and self-regulation skills.
We also believe in fostering a safe and caring environment where students can confidently learn and grow. Regular assessment of the curriculum, learning spaces, and use of technology ensures our program remains responsive to students’ needs.
