The Grades 7–8 program at Trinity Christian School helps students take the next step in their academic and personal journey. As an independent Christian school in Burlington, we continue to follow the Ontario curriculum while deepening students’ understanding through a Christ-centred lens. These are years where confidence grows, questions deepen, and students begin to take greater ownership of their learning and identity.

Grades 7-8: Growing as Leaders and Learners
In Grades 7 and 8, students are equipped for high school and beyond through engaging academics, meaningful relationships, and a learning environment grounded in Biblical truth.

Language Arts
- 100 minutes daily of structured literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading. Writing instruction using the 6+1 Traits of Writing program.
Mathematics

French
- Core French instruction using AIM methodology, .
Science & Social Studies
- Inquiry-based learning units from Edvance with a Biblical framework.
Physical Education & Health
- Holistic programs teach healthy living as a form of stewardship for God’s creation.
Arts
- Instrumental band for Grades 6-8.
Biblical Studies
- Daily devotions and engaging, comprehensive view of the Bible and life application.
