Guard God’s Treasure

Sep 28, 2023

Dear Parents,

What a wonderful start to the year to see so many of you at our Opening Chapel Tuesday! I believe we had well over 150 guests join us on top of our approximately 250 students and staff. To hear so many singing praises to our God in unison as a community of believers is truly heartwarming and at the core of who we are at Trinity Christian School.

During our time together, we unpacked our theme verse found in 2 Tim. 1:14, which says, “Guard the treasure entrusted to you, with the help of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” Our students gained a greater understanding of what it means to guard something and what constitutes a treasure. They also contributed some thoughts on what it is we should guard in our lives, especially as it relates to our relationship with God and others.

Our desire this school year is that we unearth the treasures that God has given to us and “Guard God’s Treasure” in us. Much like a museum that puts their treasures on display, we want them to be evident in our lives and visible for all the world to see how God is at work in us. We pray for God’s continued blessing on each family and our school for the year to come.

Blessings,
J-D Lussier, Principal
