Staying Connected

Mar 26, 2020

Dear Parents,

I hope that the first few days of Remote Learning are going well for you and that you are all staying safe and healthy. I wanted to thank all of you who tuned in this morning for our first Facebook Live chapel. We will be doing this every week at 9am on Thursdays to keep up with the consistency of our week at Trinity. If you miss our livestream, you can always go back on Facebook and watch it after the fact.

With all of the negativity and fear in the news this week, I’d like to contrast our weekly memo with a focus on gratitude and encouragement. We are to reflect Jesus and provide light in these dark times and what better way to do so than hearing something positive and uplifting. Over the past few days, we have received many encouraging words from our community members and I’d love to share a few of them with you. You can also check out the comment section in our chapel today to see what some of our students are thankful for. Here are a few messages that have been shared with us:

-“Our family just wanted to thank all the staff at Trinity for coming together in such a short period of time and in new ways to create a program for all the kids at Trinity so they can continue their learning at home. We truly appreciate all you do and our child is so happy to hear from his teacher and have the ability to keep his learning routine at home. You and your families are all in our prayers. Stay safe and healthy.”

-“All I can say is WOW!! I’m so impressed with all of this. A huge thank you to you and the staff. I’m excited to start a new learning adventure. I’m so encouraged by this school’s devotion to our children.
God bless and pray for good health for all.”

-“I was overwhelmed by the love and work that the girls’ teachers have poured into the videos, links, and lesson plans we received today. Yes, we have guidance on schoolwork, but they also extended realistic expectations and grace, ways to respond with hope in the current craziness, and deep caring for our girls. And you have kept all of us parents up to date and in touch with thoughtful, detailed, clear messages. We are so thankful for Trinity Christian School.”

I hope that these messages are a blessing to you as well. I look forward to staying connected with you over the upcoming weeks despite our physical distance. Please click here for my short video update. You can expect to have our weekly Newsletter continue to come home on Thursdays as usual.

Sincerely,
J-D Lussier, Principal

Value of Christian Education

Dear Parents, What is the value of a Christian education or more specifically a Trinity Christian School education? While we can assign a price tag, it is hard to add up the value in dollars and cents. It is really about what a student takes away and how they have...
