Students Partnering with World Renew

Nov 22, 2018

Dear parents,

It’s hard to believe, but the Christmas season is right around the corner. We are already starting to make plans for our Christmas Concert and various school events. One of the things that we wish to instill in our students is the importance of giving to others, especially those less fortunate than us. This year, we are partnering with World Renew to buy farm animals for subsistence farmers in remote villages, in order to provide a way for them to care for their children and community. This will enable them to earn extra funds and empower them to move forward.

Our Student Council is organizing a special day to raise money for this project. In conjunction with Spirit Day on December 6, students will be able to dress up like an animal of their choice, eat popcorn, and watch a movie. Each student will be able to make a contribution, which will result in our school donating the money necessary to purchase animals. What a great way to share God’s love and abundance at a time when we remember God’s greatest gift to us, His son.

Blessings,

J-D Lussier
Principal
